After being in development for nearly a decade, fans are expecting to play The Last of Us Part 2 starting from June 19. There is so much in this game and the world is vast. The Last of Us Part 2 Getting Banned in the Middle East
Anyone can pre-order the game except the citizens in the Middle East. Why? Well, the reason is that there is graphic violence in the game. However, it is not the only reason. There is also LGBT content in the game. For example, in the trailers, we saw Ellie is in a relationship with another girl. We know about Ellie’s sexual orientation from The Last of Us.
This was found out when some Reddit users asked questions about the game not available for pre-order in UAE or Saudi Arabia. Now, we all know the reason.
Other Games Banned in the Middle East
This has been a continued tradition in the Middle East. Multiple games, movies, shows have been banned in the countries because of these reasons. For example, God of War was banned because there was ‘God’ in the name of the game. However, the 2018 God of War is available.
Red Dead Redemption is banned in Saudi Arabia. However, Red Dead Redemption 2 had to be modified and is now available. The reason for the ban was violence, cruelty, and nudity.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Watch Dogs is also banned in the Middle East. The reason for is that the game contains sexual activity or sex scenes. Another reason for Watch Dogs is that you are able to kill innocent civilians.

According to the developers, there are many new features and an engaging story. The protagonist, Ellie will face foes who are smarter and better in many ways. You can explore the big map of the game and discover many things. The crafting mechanics have also changed. It will be harder for you to find spare parts to upgrade your skills and weapons.
There are multiple gameplay videos for the game available on YouTube. Also, there is a State of Play scheduled on Thursday at 1:30 a.m. IST. In this, there will be 20 minutes of unseen gameplay with commentary from the devs.
