League of Legends is an online multiplayer game, that, since the very beginning of its inception, has been popular among fans and players.
It’s hard to imagine a gamer having not heard of this game. This, very well, maybe the holy grail for gamers which they must consume to reacher gaming enlightenment.
This arena-based game was first launched by Riot Games on 27 October 2009. In the first decade of its inception, this game has, very well, dominated the gaming scene and remained a top fan favorite. In fact, some might not even shy away from calling it the most popular game in the world.
With over 80 million monthly players and 27 million daily, the fandom surrounding this game is huge.
One of the reasons behind its success is because it is different from the rest. Another probable reason is the free-to-play approach that the game makers have maintained over the century of its existence. And also because it is insanely addicting!
Game developers have also maintained this popularity and kept their players and fans on tow by always going one step ahead of the others with new developments coming every now and then.
Be it new characters or new skins, developers have always been trying to keep their players interested and strive for more.
And the latest development seems to be Volibear Rework which will hit the players arena on May 28, among others.
What is Volibear Rework?
Volibear Rework a bear embodiment that was first introduced into the game way back in 2011. This character has been inspired by Riot Games former producer, Travis Volibar George.
This bear embodiment was developed based on user feedback and fan demand.
This character is also accompanied by a very impressive set of kit which includes regeneration of health once it reaches 30% (Passive – Chosen of the Storm), bonus movement speed (Q – Rolling Thunder), dealing physical damage (W – Frenzy), magic damage (E – Magestic Roar) and R – Thunder Claws.
And this time, game developers have brought back Volibear Rework. According to sources, this time, Volibear Rework will come “with more lightning and savage claws to deal more damage to enemies.”
And to say that fans are excited is an understatement. Reddit and other chat forums besides social networking sites have erupted with a positive reaction to this new development.
Now, what game developers hold in store for the future remains to be seen.
