Netflix’s horror hit The Haunting of Hill House had audiences on the edge of their chairs, gnawing away at their claws for 10 straight supernatural-packed episodes. While that year marks the end of the road for the distressed Crain family, a second season of The Haunting of Hill House is happening. While year 1 of the horror series was an adaptation of Shirley Jackson’s 1959 novel of the same name, year 2 will have a different setting, characters, a fresh haunted home, and also a brand new name… The Haunting of Bly Manor. This means even bigger things for your Netflix series: it is getting an anthology series touch, similar to FX’s American Horror Story. Fans mostly want to know whether that means casting is going to receive the same anthology treatment, bringing back familiar faces yet distinct characters. The brief answer: yes.

As a result of year 1 earning praise and acquaintances alike, season 2 was arranged up and we can not wait for it to arrive. Will the new season farther research loss and childhood injury, or move at a different mind-altering direction entirely?

Release Date

The exact release date has yet to be declared, however, the Twitter page for The Haunting of Bly Manor said the new saga is coming in 2020 and has yet to change that deadline regardless of the coronavirus pandemic stopping production sets globally. While the precise cast has yet to be released and surprise members could combine the show upon every incident’s viewing, The Haunting of Hill House creator Mike Flanagan has not been shy about introducing cast members into the entire world. Plus, as previously mentioned, The Haunting of Hill House will get the American Horror Story treatment in terms of casting actors from the preceding season. Yes, this season 1 alums can be anticipated in season two.

Flanagan has been spreading his merry news about the sinister TV series’ casting via Twitter. Benjamin Ainsworth and Amelie Smith were also announced and will play with the haunted children Miles and Flora.

There is just one bad part about anthologies, and that is needing to wait to see what the new season is all about and where it takes place. The novella occurs in Bly, a fictional country house in England. To the surprise of nobody, the mansion is haunted. If you can believe it, as we are still trembling from season 1, The Haunting of Bly Manor is assumed to be scarier than The Haunting of Hill House.
