The Boys is an American action superhero series. It is an Amazon Prime original based on the comic book of the same name.

The Boys Season 2 Release Date

The first season of The Boys was released on July 26, 2019. The show was a massive success and attracted fans from all over. It received high praise from both audiences and critics.

Before season one itself was released, the show was renewed for another season by Amazon. This is good news for fans.

Although there are no reports on the official release date of season two of The Boys, we can expect it to be released sometime by the end of 2020. In fact, we might see it earlier as the creator of the show, hinted that the show is on the way and fans can see it soon.

There were rumors of the release being delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. But a cast member posted a picture on Instagram in December 2019 and announced that the filming of season Two is completed. So there will not be any delay in the release of the forthcoming season.

The Boys Season 2 Plot

The Boys is a superhero series where superpowered individuals are recognized as heroes and role models by the public. They and owned by a corporation called Vought International. The corporation monetizes and markets them. Outside of their heroic personas, most of them are corrupt and arrogant.

Billy Butcher, who hates all superpowered people, leads the Boys. Homelander, an unstable and egotistical hero leads the Seven. Conflict rises between the two groups, and a new member joins each team. Hugh Campbell joins the  Boys, after his girlfriend is killed by one of the Seven. Annie January / Starlight, a hopeful and young heroine is recruited by the Seven.

Season Two will pick off from the end of season one where Billy leads his wife is still alive.

Usher as A-Train.
