The theme of this show revolves around six young men and women who have to stay isolated in a place temporarily.
The show was quite popular and even Netflix picked up the show to air it on its streaming platform.
But, the show will not be back after its 2019-2020 stint. In other words, the show is off limits for the time being and might continue to do so without a specific date or year of its return.

The show was about to come forward with its sixth season soon. But, the network that is responsible for this reality TV series, announced on its Twitter account, “We would like to express our sincere condolences for the death of Hana Kimura. We have decided to cancel the production of Terrace House Tokyo 2019-2020.”
While the reason behind this untimely demise has not been revealed, the death is said to be likely from cyberbullying.
Looking back at Kimura’s last online behavior suggests that she was indeed facing a lot of backlashes and cyberbullying, especially from men.
