Lost In Space is an American science fiction series based on the 1965 show of the same name and the book by Johann David Wyss, The Swiss Family Robinson. This show, created by Irwin Allen is a Netflix original.

One of the main features of the series is its spectacular music and special effects.

Lost in Space Season 3 Release Date

Season one of Lost In Space was released on April 13, 2018, and instantly became famous amongst sci-fi fans. It became one of Netflix’s top series, although there were mixed opinions on the season.

Season two, which got a rating of 75% on Rotten Tomatoes was released on 24 December 2019.

On March 9, 2020, Netflix announced that there will be a third and final season of the show. Although there has been no official update on the release date, season three is expected to release mid-2021 but might get pushed to December 2021 considering to the current pandemic which has halted production of all films and series.

Season 3 of Lost In Space will feature Molly Parker as Maureen Robinson, Toby Stephens as John Robinson, Taylor Russell as Judy Robinson, Maxwell Jenkins as Will Robinson, Parker Posey as Dr Smith, Ignacio Serricchio as Major Don West, Mina Sundwall as Penny Robinson and JJ Feild as Ben Adler among others.

Lost in Space Season 3 Plot

Lost In Space is a story of The Robinsons, a family of space colonists who are stranded on an alien planet fighting for their lives with amusement and danger at every turn.

Season 2 ends with The Robinsons separated. Season 3 will revolve around individual characters and their stories and adventures and about finding each other. It will be exciting to see how their characters develop now that the kids are stranded alone without their parents. An amazing ending has been promised by the writers.

There have been many theories on the Internet on what Season 3 could be all about. Some talk about The Robinsons reuniting,  some talk about then being stranded and away from each other forever, some even support the non-speaking machine/robot to emerge as the hero. Nonetheless, the final season of this spectacular show is going to leave its viewers filled with a range of emotions from excitement to happiness and tears.
