It seems like it’s been forever since we last saw Robert Downey Jr. take on the role of the planet’s most decorated literary detective in Guy Ritchie’s Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows. Since the 2011 follow to the 2009 box office smash hit Sherlock Holmes, there’ve been a number of ups and downs with the next film in the franchise. Still, now that Downey is no longer a regular player in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it appears like we are likely to see Sherlock Holmes 3, using another manager and maybe even a new location.
And although production or perhaps casting (apart from Holmes and Watson) is becoming underway at this stage in time, there are still a number of things going on with all the threequel. Bearing that in mind, here are seven quick things to know about Sherlock Holmes 3.
Here Is The Expected Cast Of Sherlock Holmes 3
As in the past movies, Chief actor Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law will play their characters in this continuation also. Even though there has been no affirmation, there are opportunities that Reilly could play Watson’s better half, Mary, Stephen Fry may again be seen as Sherlock’s sibling Mycroft. Eddie Marsan can be again as Inspector Lestrade.
Robert Downey Jr. And, Jude Law Are Reprising Their Roles!
At the Sherlock Holmes 3 one-piece delay, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Robert Downey Jr. would be returning as the most famous and erratic British detective. Jude Law would replicate his function as Holmes’ committed companion and closest companion, Dr. John Watson.
The set will rejoin precisely a very long time because they kept going on screen together in Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows, yet it is not yet clear exactly what different characters — and the entertainers who played them in the past films — will be restored now around. Whatever occurs to the supporting cast, in any episode, it is going to be ideal to find the classic to and fro among Holmes and Watson after all this time off.
