Top 10 Avatar: The Last Airbender Episodes To Rewatch

1 & 2.  The Siege of The North Part 1 and 2

The ending of the first season was quite a rollercoaster of emotions. The way the relationships between the characters develop is an amazing thing to see. The Siege of the North encapsulates the force of the Fire Nation Army but only shows us a glimpse of their strength. For the first time, we see the threat of the Fire Nation Army in reality and the harm that they are ready to bring to the other nations.

3.  The Warriors of Kyoshi

This is a fun episode where we see a more interesting side of Sokka and the child-like nature of the Avatar. The Kyoshi Warriors play a vital role in Avatar’s siege of the Fire Nation and this introductory episode gives us a glimpse into their lives on Kyoshi Island.

4. King of Omashu

Aang has left behind everything in his past but his duties as an Avatar are unchanged. His time in the iceberg doesn’t mean that everyone he knows is now lost. Friendship is the main focus in the episode and we see Aang’s life before the iceberg.

5. Avatar Day

The influence of the Avatar is not all god-like all around the four nations. It is a tough pill for Aang to swallow, but one that he must understand.

6. The Blind Bandit

Toph is the most powerful Earth Bender and the episode where the gang meets her is a particularly funny and expositional one.

7, 8, 9, and 10. The Sozin’s Comet – Finale

The Final episode itself is a must-watch. The beautiful animation complements the strength and emotions of the characters. The vibrant colors and the music elevate the show to another level. The ending to the story of Aang is bittersweet for us as we finally see the path Aang created for himself, but it is sad for us that there is not more of his story left to see.
